Japan is blessed with the natural beauty of the four seasons.
The Far Eastern island nation has also benefited from its geographical environment, which has nurtured a unique sensibility.
Numerous fabrics were created by the flashes of inspiration and sensitivity of craftsmen and their honed mastery of their craft. The Kyoto Yuzen Sarees are works of art that transcended the concept of 'clothing'.
The first day of the exhibition. As soon as they stepped into the venue, the guests were immediately attracted.
They touched the Kyoto Yuzen Sarees, asked about the creative process and showed great interest in them.
They listen to Mr Takehana's stories carefully and admire Mrs Miyuki's Kimonos and Obi (belt).
As a Japanese, I feel very proud and honoured to introduce such a wonderful Japanese culture.
It is also important to receive frank feedback. I am well aware that it is not an optimistic market.
Anyway, first of all, it is important to make people aware of this traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
The first steps have been taken.
The exhibition is open until 5.00 today. If you are interested, please visit Yelahanka in North Bangalore. (WhatsApp/ 99458-45155)
